The Claims Process for Home, Tenant, Condo, Agro and Commercial Policies
Contact us here at McCauley Agencies and we will obtain your claim details. We will report the claim to the insurance company on your behalf.
An adjuster will contact you as soon as possible to discuss the claim and to arrange a time to adjust the damage.
When it’s safe you should take steps right away to protect your property from further damage by covering broken windows, securing broken doors, etc. Please take pictures of all damages and save any receipts from repairs as this will assist your adjuster in determining the damage that occurred. Don’t throw away any damaged property without your adjuster’s approval. The adjuster needs to see all your damaged property and belongings so they can accurately assess your loss.
Once an adjuster has visited your home, he or she will advise you how to get estimates on repairs or replacement items. You may be required to get at least 2 detailed quotes to repair damages. Make sure to select reputable, reliable and insured contractors to ensure the work will be completed to your satisfaction.

The Process for Filling an Auto Claim
